The DNB series is used for pumping and draining clear liquids and gray sewage. The special geometry of S-Flow impellers allows pumping liquids containing suspended solids with short fibers and is perfect for sewage treatment plants.
Characteristics
All main components are made of GG20 Cast Iron. A double mechanical seal in a back to back configuration, placed in the oil chamber, guarantees long product durability.
Advantages of DNB dirty water pumps
Dirty water such as rainwater or greywater e.g. from a shower, washing machine or washbasin (without solid fractions and feces) do not require impellers with free passages because they do not contain elements that could block the flow or wrap around it. Therefore, we can use much more efficient rotors to pump them than Vortex or open channel rotors. DNB dirty water pumps have been designed specifically for high efficiency, maintaining a large flow through the S-Flow impeller channels, but at the same time using the relatively low power of electric motors.
Use of DNB pumps
Highly efficient S-Flow impellers find a number of applications in pumping stations rainwater, light (gray) sewage, mechanically pre-treated sewage, process water, slurry, leachate and sewage treatment plants. DNB electric dirty water pumps have legs on which they can stand freely on the ground and a flange for attaching the connection or the coupling foot hitch. DRENO type: A, B or DUTY. The DNB model offers single-phase and three-phase models with built-in float switch or without, depending on the recipient's preferred control method.
Controls
The DNA sewage pump has four versions, which are a combination of single-phase and three-phase power supply and built-in control float switch and external signal. To control the operation of DNA pumps (except versions with built-in float switch) we recommend simple drivers M121 (230V) as well M131 (400V). For more demanding users and two-pump pumping stations, we offer professional power and control switchgears in relay-contactor design SPP i SPS.
Installation methods
Thanks to the DN flange, DNB pumps are often installed on coupling feet in pumping stations for rainwater, pre-treated sewage and process water. By using an appropriate hose connection (elbow with a bare end), we obtain a portable pump for drainage and working with liquids with a high solids content (gravel, sand, garbage). With a DNB sewage pump, we can easily water a garden with rainwater, drain a flooded garage or basement, or pump water from a pond or ditch to another tank. DNB pumps have stable legs protruding from the pump body, on which they can stand on a level surface ensuring adequate clearance under the body for water supply.
Like any sewage pump DRENO, DNB also has a 10-meter power cord as standard. They work perfectly with coupling feet DRENO: DUTY 65, i B4 PN10.
