CTR 1500 - submersible pump with shredder
submersible pump IBO brand CTR with a cutting knife is a series of devices designed for pumping sewage and dirty water that does not contain grinding elements such as sand. The built-in float switch automatically controls the pump, and the overcurrent switch mounted on the power cable protects the motor in the event of a blocked cutting knife.
For whom
-
House and plot owners – the cutting knife crushes impurities contained in the sewage, reducing the risk of clogging when draining the septic tank.
-
Installation and service companies – built-in float switch automates pump operation without additional control equipment.
-
Agricultural and breeding farms – the pump collects rain and surface water, and the cutting knife deals with organic contaminants.
-
Municipal utilities with diverse needs – the power range from 550 W to 1500 W allows you to choose the model depending on the size of the septic tank or the scale of flooding.
Application
The CTR series of submersible pumps with a grinder is designed for pumping sewage and dirty water that does not contain grinding elements such as sand. The pumps are used to pump sewage from home septic tanks and to drain flooded rooms, houses, garages and premises.
The cutting knife crushes solid impurities contained in the sewage before pumping it, reducing the risk of clogging the hose or pipeline. The devices operate in a vertical position, with a maximum temperature of the pumped liquid up to 35°C.
Features of the CTR series
CTR series pumps are made with a motor housing and impeller housing made of gray cast iron. The rotor and cutting knife are made of gray cast iron and AISI 304 stainless steel, and the shaft is made of AISI 304 stainless steel, thanks to which the cutting elements remain sharp and resistant to corrosion even in constant contact with sewage.
A circuit breaker mounted directly on the power cable cuts off Power supply motor if the cutting blade is blocked by a hard object, protecting the motor against overload regardless of the thermal protection in the winding. The float switch automatically controls the pump operation and provides basic protection against dry running.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ) – submersible pump CTR with shredder
What contaminants does the CTR pump crush?
The cutting knife crushes solid and fibrous impurities contained in sewage, reducing the risk of clogging the hose or pipeline. The pump is not intended for water with sand or other grinding elements.
What is the purpose of the circuit breaker on the power cable?
The circuit breaker cuts off Power supply motor when the cutting knife is blocked by a hard object, protecting the motor from overload regardless of the thermal protection built into the winding.
How does the pump protect itself against dry running?
Protection is provided by a built-in float switch that shuts off Power supply engine when the water level drops below a safe minimum.
How to choose a CTR pump model for your needs?
The choice of model depends on the required lifting height and efficiency - the series includes variants from 550 W (CTR 550) to 1500 W (CTR 1500), selected according to the size of the septic tank or the scale of flooding. If in doubt, we encourage you to contact the technical department.
Where can you buy a CTR submersible pump?
Dambat does not sell directly. CTR series pumps are available from trading partners, installation wholesalers and authorized online distributors.
What warranty conditions apply to the CTR pump?
