The Compatta PRO series with a free passage is designed for pumping municipal and industrial wastewater. Its flexibility and compact dimensions make it particularly suitable for pumping domestic and residential wastewater. The pumps can be used in all hazardous areas in accordance with certificate CE0477 EPT 17 ATEX 2701 X, Ex II 2G [Ex db IIB T4 Gb, Ex h IIB T4 Gb, 0°≤Ta≤40°, available on request.

All major components are made of GG20 cast iron. The mechanical and lip seals ensure proper product operation.
Advantages of Compatta PRO free-passage pumps
Compatta PRO series pumps are a more advanced version of the domestic Compatta pumps. This version is primarily designed for operation in harsh conditions, including hazardous areas. The manufacturer has provided ATEX certification for the pumps and the necessary equipment, such as a special cable with a cable gland and an ATEX control panel (available to order). The PRO version has only one free-passage size beneath the impeller, namely 50 mm, which works successfully with EASY E3.1 and EASY E3.2 coupling feet and with discharge pipelines from DN50 upwards.
Open six-blade Vortex impellers handle even fibrous wastewater contents perfectly, whereas typical grinders act like winding devices. Grinder blades that quickly become blunt in wastewater act like wedges and block the pump. Wastewater pumps with a free passage beneath the impeller are free from these disadvantages. The impeller’s thick walls ensure many years of operation in raw domestic wastewater.
When selecting a pump, we always check the parameters of the available pipeline, as the diameter of the discharge pipe or the terrain geometry sometimes requires the use of greater power.
Control
Compatta PRO-Ex wastewater pumps are offered without a built-in float switch. When operating in an explosive atmosphere, an EX GEX - ATEX float switch EX GEX - ATEX float switch in an explosion-proof version must be used. It may require protection in the control system (not supplied by Dambat) in the form of an EMS protective relay/barrier EMS relay (Ex protective barrier) - EXI / 2 for ATEX float switches
Possible applications
With a suitable hose connection (an elbow ending in a plain end), we obtain a lightweight portable pump for drainage and operation with liquids containing a high concentration of solids (gravel, sand, and waste). Compatta PRO pumps are used for drainage in mines, transferring process water at treatment plants, and in demanding industrial conditions. Compatta PRO has stable feet extending from the pump body, ensuring adequate clearance beneath the body for water supply.
Like every DRENO wastewater pump, Compatta PRO comes standard with a 10-metre power cable.
