The Compatta PRO series with free passage is designed for pumping municipal and industrial wastewater. Its flexibility and compact size make it particularly suitable for pumping domestic and residential wastewater. Pumps in this series can be used in all hazardous areas, in accordance with the certificate available upon request.
Characteristics
All major components are made of GG20 cast iron. The mechanical and lip seals ensure the product operates correctly.
Advantages of Compatta PRO free-passage pumps
The Compatta PRO series pumps are a more advanced version of the domestic Compatta pumps. This version is distinguished primarily by its intended use in harsh conditions, including hazardous areas. The manufacturer has provided ATEX certification for the pumps, as well as necessary equipment such as a special cable with a cable gland and an ATEX control panel (available to order). The PRO version has only one free-passage size beneath the impeller, namely 50 mm, which works successfully with EASY E3.1 and EASY E3.2 coupling feet and discharge pipelines from DN50 upward.
Open six-blade Vortex impellers handle even fibrous wastewater contents perfectly, whereas conventional grinders act like winding devices. Grinder blades that quickly become dull in wastewater act like wedges and block the pump. Wastewater pumps with free passage beneath the impeller are free from these drawbacks. The impeller’s thick walls are sufficient for many years of operation in raw domestic wastewater.
When selecting a pump, we always check the parameters of the available pipeline, as sometimes the diameter of the discharge pipe or the terrain geometry requires greater power.
Control
Compatta PRO is available in various versions combining single- and three-phase power supplies with control by an integrated float switch (230V only) or an external signal. For domestic applications, we recommend the simple M121 (230V) or M131 (400V) controllers. For more demanding users and two-pump pumping stations, we offer professional relay- and contactor-based power and control cabinets: SPP and SPS.
Possible applications
With a suitable hose connection (an elbow ending in a plain end), we obtain a lightweight portable pump for dewatering and handling liquids with a high content of solids (gravel, sand, waste). Compatta PRO pumps are used for dewatering mines, transferring process water at treatment plants, and operating in harsh industrial conditions. Compatta PRO has stable feet extending from the pump housing, providing adequate clearance beneath the housing for water intake.
Like every DRENO wastewater pump, Compatta PRO comes standard with a 10-meter power cable.
