The Compatta PRO free-passage series is designed for pumping municipal and industrial wastewater. Its flexibility and compact size make it particularly suitable for pumping domestic and residential wastewater. Pumps in this series can be used in all potentially explosive atmospheres, in accordance with the certificate available on request.
Features
All major components are made of GG20 cast iron. The mechanical and lip seals ensure correct product operation.
Advantages of Compatta PRO free-passage pumps
Compatta PRO series pumps are a more advanced version of the domestic Compatta pumps. This version is designed primarily for operation in demanding conditions, including potentially explosive atmospheres. The manufacturer has provided ATEX certification for the pumps and the necessary equipment, such as a special cable with a gland and an ATEX control panel (available to order). The PRO version has only one free-passage size beneath the impeller, namely 50 mm, which works successfully with EASY E3.1 and EASY E3.2 coupling feet and discharge pipelines from DN50 upwards.
Open six-vane Vortex impellers handle even fibrous wastewater contents perfectly, whereas typical macerators act like winding reels. Macerator blades that quickly become blunt in wastewater act like wedges and block the pump. Wastewater pumps with free passage beneath the impeller are free from these disadvantages. The impeller’s thick walls are sufficient for many years of operation in untreated domestic wastewater.
When selecting a pump, we always check the parameters of the available pipeline, as the discharge pipe diameter or terrain geometry may sometimes require the use of a higher-power pump.
Control
Compatta PRO is available in various versions combining single- and three-phase power supplies with control by an integrated float switch (230V only) or an external signal. For domestic applications, we recommend the simple M121 (230V) or M131 (400V) controllers. For more demanding users and two-pump pumping stations, we offer professional relay-contactor power and control panels, the SPP and SPS.
Possible applications
With a suitable hose connection (an elbow ending in a plain end), the pump becomes a lightweight portable pump for drainage and handling liquids with a high content of solids (gravel, sand, debris). Compatta PRO pumps are used for drainage in mines, transferring process water at wastewater treatment plants, and in demanding industrial conditions. Compatta PRO has stable feet projecting from the pump body, providing sufficient clearance beneath the body for water supply.
Like every DRENO wastewater pump, Compatta PRO comes standard with a 10-metre power cable.
