Characteristics
The main components are made of GG20 cast iron. In the standard configuration, the lip seal is installed on the motor side, while the mechanical seal is installed on the impeller side. The “EVO” version of the pump features a double mechanical seal located in the oil chamber.
Advantages of the Compatta sewage pump
Compatta sewage pumps are the ideal solution for anyone looking for a professional product for use at home or in a small business. The new EVO version with a double mechanical seal in the oil chamber is particularly recommended. The parameters of the Compatta pump make it an alternative to pumps with a macerator, which often becomes clogged, causing operating difficulties for the user. The free passage beneath the impeller for solids measuring from 30 to 50 mm (depending on the model) ensures long-term operation without the need for intervention. Open six-blade Vortex impellers handle even fibrous sewage contents perfectly, whereas macerators act like winding reels. Macerator blades quickly become dull in sewage, acting like wedges and blocking the pump. Sewage pumps with a free passage beneath the impeller do not have these disadvantages. The impeller’s thick walls are sufficient for many years of operation in raw domestic sewage.
When selecting a pump, check the specifications of the available pipeline, as the diameter of the discharge pipe or the terrain geometry may sometimes require the use of a higher-powered pump.
Control
Compatta is available in four versions, combining single- and three-phase power supplies with control by a built-in float or an external signal. To control Compatta pumps (except versions with a built-in float), we recommend the simple M121 (230 V) or M131 (400 V) controllers. For more demanding users and twin-pump lifting stations, we offer professional power and control panels with relay-contactor or microprocessor-based control.
Possible applications
With a suitable hose connection (an elbow ending in a plain end), the pump becomes a lightweight portable pump for drainage and for handling liquids with a high solids content (gravel, sand, and debris). Compatta sewage pumps can easily water a garden with rainwater, drain a flooded garage or basement, and pump water from a pond or ditch into another tank. Compatta has stable feet projecting from the pump body, allowing it to stand on a level surface while providing sufficient clearance beneath the body for water intake.
Like every DRENO sewage pump, it comes standard with a 10-meter power cable. Except for the Compatta 1-1.5, which has a vertical outlet, the other models work perfectly with EASY coupling feet.
