Compatta sewage pumps, thanks to their compact size and good mechanical properties, are ideal for pumping domestic wastewater from households, small businesses, and small residential communities.
Characteristics
The main components are made of GG20 cast iron. In the standard configuration, the lip seal is installed on the motor side, while the mechanical seal is installed on the impeller side. The “EVO” version of the pump features a double mechanical seal located in the oil chamber.
Advantages of the Compatta sewage pump
Compatta sewage pumps are an ideal solution for those looking for a professional product for use at home or in a small business. The new EVO version, featuring a double mechanical seal in the oil chamber, is especially recommended. The parameters of the Compatta pump make it an alternative to pumps with a macerator, which often becomes clogged, exposing users to operational difficulties. The free passage beneath the impeller for contaminants measuring from 30 to 50 mm (depending on the model) ensures long-term operation without the need for intervention. Open six-blade Vortex impellers handle even fibrous sewage content perfectly, whereas macerators act like winders. Macerator blades quickly become dull in sewage, acting like wedges and blocking the pump. Sewage pumps with a free passage beneath the impeller are free from these disadvantages. The impeller’s thick walls ensure many years of operation in raw domestic sewage.
When selecting a pump, check the parameters of the available pipeline, as the diameter of the discharge pipe or the terrain geometry may sometimes require greater power.
Control
Compatta is available in four versions combining single- and three-phase power supplies with control by a built-in float switch or an external signal. To control Compatta pumps (except versions with a built-in float switch), we recommend the simple M121 controllers M121 (230 V) or M131 (400 V). For more demanding users and dual-pump pumping stations, we offer professional power and control panels with relay-contactor and microprocessor control.
Possible applications
With a suitable hose connection (an elbow ending in a plain end), the pump becomes a lightweight portable drainage pump for working with liquids containing large amounts of solids (gravel, sand, and debris). Compatta sewage pumps can easily water a garden with rainwater, drain a flooded garage or basement, and pump water from a pond or ditch into another tank. Compatta has stable feet extending from the pump body, allowing it to stand on a level surface while providing sufficient clearance beneath the body for water intake.
Like every DRENO sewage pump, it comes standard with a 10-meter power cable. Except for the Compatta 1–1.5 models, which have a vertical outlet, the other models work perfectly with EASY coupling feet.
