Characteristics
The main components are made of GG20 cast iron. In the standard configuration, the lip seal is installed on the motor side, while the mechanical seal is installed on the impeller side. The “EVO” version pump features a double mechanical seal located in the oil chamber.

Compatta sewage pumps are the ideal solution for people looking for a professional product for use at home or in a small business. The new EVO version, with a double mechanical seal in the oil chamber, is particularly recommended. The parameters of the Compatta pump provide an alternative to pumps with macerators, which often become clogged and expose users to operating difficulties. The free passage beneath the impeller for contaminants measuring 30 to 50 mm (depending on the model) ensures long-term operation without the need for intervention. Open six-blade Vortex impellers handle even fibrous sewage content perfectly, whereas macerators act like winders. Macerator blades quickly become blunt in sewage, acting like wedges and blocking the pump. Sewage pumps with a free passage beneath the impeller do not have these drawbacks. The thick impeller walls are sufficient for many years of operation in raw domestic sewage.
When selecting a pump, the parameters of the available pipeline should be checked, as the diameter of the discharge pipe or the terrain geometry may sometimes require greater power.
Control
Compatta is available in four versions combining single- and three-phase power supplies with control by a built-in float or an external signal. To control Compatta pumps (except versions with a built-in float), we recommend the simple M121 controllers M121 (230 V) or M131 (400 V). For more demanding users and two-pump pumping stations, we offer professional power and control panels with relay-contactor and microprocessor control.
Possible applications
With a suitable hose connection (an elbow ending in a plain end), the pump becomes a lightweight portable drainage pump for liquids with a high content of solids (gravel, sand, debris). Compatta sewage pumps can easily water a garden with rainwater, drain a flooded garage or basement, and pump water from a pond or ditch into another tank. Compatta has stable feet protruding from the pump body, allowing it to stand on level ground while providing sufficient clearance beneath the body for water intake.
Like every DRENO sewage pump, it comes standard with a 10-metre power cable. Except for the Compatta 1-1.5, which has a vertical outlet, the remaining models work excellently with EASY coupling feet.
