A replaceable EPDM synthetic rubber diaphragm, resistant to stretching and elevated temperatures, is fitted inside the steel shell. The diaphragm separates the heating medium from the compressed gas cushion, limiting water contact with the inside of the vessel.
The vessel is supplied with a factory pre-charge pressure of 1.5 bar ±10%, which can be adjusted to suit the specific system. It is compatible with closed heating systems with a maximum operating pressure of 8 bar and a medium temperature of up to 99°C.
