The vessel body is made of steel coated with a protective exterior paint that increases corrosion resistance. A replaceable diaphragm made of synthetic EPDM rubber, resistant to stretching and elevated temperatures, is fitted inside the steel shell. The diaphragm separates the heating medium from the compressed gas cushion, limiting water contact with the inside of the vessel.
The vessel is supplied with a factory pre-charge pressure of 1.5 bar ±10%, which can be adjusted to suit a specific installation. It is compatible with closed heating systems with a maximum operating pressure of 8 bar and a fluid temperature of up to 99°C.
