The S-150 controller is designed to control a central heating water circulation pump. Its function is to switch the pump on when the temperature exceeds the set value and switch it off when it falls below the set shutdown temperature. This prevents unnecessary pump operation, saving electricity (depending on how intensively the boiler is used, savings can reach up to 60%) and extending the pump’s service life.
This increases its reliability and reduces operating costs. Both the switch-on and switch-off temperatures can be set within the range of 0˚C–99˚C.
Hysteresis has been replaced with the option of freely setting the switch-off temperature.
Example: Set temperature: 34˚C (lower display), switch-off temperature: 31˚C. When the sensor temperature reaches 34˚C, the pump switches on and operates until the sensor temperature drops to 31˚C; the controller then switches the pump off.
The S-150 central heating pump controller is equipped with 2 LED displays. The upper display shows the current temperature measured by the sensor by default, while the lower display shows the switch-off temperature. The MENU button switches the controller to the mode for viewing and setting the switch-off and switch-on temperatures, as well as configuring the anti-stop function.
Thermostat function
The controller also has a built-in thermostat function. It is possible to set a temperature at which the controller will switch off the controlled devices and then restart the device once the temperature falls to the desired value.
Anti-freeze function
The controller is equipped with an ANTY-FREEZ function. When the ambient temperature falls below 5˚C, the controller starts the pump to prevent freezing.
