Ball check valves are protective devices that safeguard pressurized pipelines against undesirable backflow. They are most commonly used on discharge risers in domestic wastewater pumping stations and in rainwater pumping stationsrainwater. The design and material construction allow for wide use in installations inside wastewater pumping station tanks, on above-ground transmission pipelines, as well as underground, both in vertical andand horizontal (while maintaining the correct flow direction).

- EN1092-2 PN16 and AS4087, AS4087 (AS2129 Table E),
- ISO 228-1 for BSP threads,
- Category A, ISO5208 standard,
- EN558-1 series 48 (DIN3202 F6).

Threaded valve diameter range: from DN25 (1”) up to DN65 (2-1/2”).
- Flanged valve diameter range: DN50 to DN100.
- Maximum operating pressure: 16 bar.
- Minimum back pressure ensuring tightness: 0.3 to 0.5 bar.
- Test pressure:
- for the ball seat: 1.1 × normal pressure,
- – for the body: 1.5 × normal pressure.

The face-to-face length of the valves and the connection sizes of flanges and threads comply with the requirements of the standards listed above.

The correct direction of liquid flow through the valve is indicated by the arrow on the body.

The durable and simple design ensures long-lasting, trouble-free operation.

The valve closure (flap) consists of a smooth ball covered with a layer of EPDM resistant to sewage. As the ball freely rotates in the seat into which it is moved by the liquid flow, the ball is cleaned of solid particles carried by the medium.

The valves feature a bolted inspection cover for inspection and convenient cleaning in the event of non-standard sewage contents entering the valve.
