Ball check valves are safety devices that protect pressure pipelines against undesirable backflow. They are most commonly used on discharge risers in pumping stations for domestic sewage and in pumping stations forrainwater. The design and material selection allow for wide use in installations inside pumping station tanks, on above-ground transmission pipelines, as well as underground, both in the vertical position andand horizontal (while maintaining the correct flow direction).

- EN1092-2 PN16 and AS4087, AS4087 (AS2129 Table E),
- ISO 228-1 with regard to BSP threads,
- Category A, ISO5208 standard,
- EN558-1 series 48 (DIN3202 F6).

Threaded valve diameter range: from DN25 (1”) up to DN65 (2-1/2”).
- Flanged valve diameter range: DN50 to DN100.
- Maximum working pressure: 16 bar.
- Minimum back pressure guaranteeing tightness: 0.3 to 0.5 bar.
- Test pressure:
- for the ball seat: 1.1 × nominal pressure,
- – for the body: 1.5 × nominal pressure.

Operating temperature range: 10–80°C.

The face-to-face length of the valves and the connection sizes of flanges and threads meet the requirements of the standards listed above.

The correct direction of liquid flow through the valve is indicated by the arrow on the body.

The durable and simple design ensures long-term trouble-free operation.

The valve closure (shutter) is a smooth ball coated with a layer of EPDM resistant to sewage. As the ball moves freely in its seat, into which it is pushed by the liquid flow, the ball is cleaned of solid particles carried by the medium.

The valves feature a bolt-secured inspection cover for inspection and convenient cleaning if non-standard sewage contents enter the valve.
