Explosion-proof pumps
The 2-pole ATH series is used for pumping and transferring large volumes of clean water or light sewage at high pressure. Applications: water treatment plants, industrial pipelines, airports, hospitals and civil and agricultural irrigation applications.
The pumps can be used in all potentially explosive atmospheres, in accordance with the CE0477 EPT 17 ATEX 2701
Characteristics
All main components are made of GG25 cast iron. Two separate mechanical seals (motor side in the oil chamber, impeller side in contact with the liquid) and high-quality parts ensure excellent performance and reliability of the product.
Advantages of the high lift ATH pump
ATH pumps can pump light sewage (gray water) or dirty water, generating high lift thanks to two-channel impellers with a passage of 30-45 mm. Within this size range, we can easily fit most household sewage (the exception is fibrous waste, which should not be included in domestic sewage). Thanks to the limited size of the channels, the pumps maintain high efficiency and their scope of use is very versatile: sewage treatment plants, supplying large amounts of water from wells, irrigation of crops and animal husbandry.
Installation of ATH sewage pumps
ATH pumps do not require special installation installations, they are usually mounted on automatic couplings (coupling feet): type A (horizontal), type B or DUTY. The pumps are designed so that their weight (pressure on the connector) balances the repulsive force generated by the pump, therefore, there is no pump deflection and no pressure loss. Pumps can operate within the entire range of their characteristics, although, of course, the most advisable operating point is one close to the point of maximum efficiency.
