The ATH 2-pole series is used for pumping and transferring large quantities of clean water or light wastewater at high pressure. Applications: water treatment plants, industrial pipelines, airports, hospitals, and civil and agricultural irrigation applications.
Characteristics
All main components are made of GG25 cast iron. Two separate mechanical seals (the motor side in the oil chamber and the impeller side in contact with the liquid), together with high-quality components, ensure excellent performance and product reliability.
Advantages of the ATH high-head pump
ATH pumps can pump light wastewater (greywater) or dirty water while generating high head, thanks to two-channel impellers with a 30–45 mm passage. Within this size range, most domestic and household wastewater can pass freely (the exception is fibrous debris, which should not be present in domestic wastewater). Thanks to the limited channel size, the pumps maintain high efficiency, while their range of applications is very broad: wastewater treatment plants, supplying large quantities of water from wells, crop irrigation, and livestock farming.
Installation of ATH wastewater pumps
ATH pumps do not require special installation systems; they are usually installed on automatic couplings (coupling feet): type A (horizontal), type B or DUTY. The pumps are designed so that their weight (the pressure applied to the connection) counterbalances the repulsive force generated by the pump. As a result, the pump does not tilt and there is no pressure loss. The pumps can operate across their entire performance range, although the operating point closest to the point of maximum efficiency is naturally recommended.
