Explosion-proof pumps
The 4-pole A series is designed for pumping clear liquids and wastewater. Its wide range and high hydraulic efficiency make this series particularly suitable for water treatment plants, sewage systems, agriculture, and industrial facilities, including airports, underground public transport systems, hospitals, and hotels.
The pumps can be used in all hazardous areas in accordance with CE0477 EPT 17 ATEX 2701 X certification, Ex II 2G [Ex db IIB T4 Gb, Ex h IIB T4 Gb, 0°≤Ta≤40° available on request.
Characteristics
All main components are made of GG25 cast iron. Two separate mechanical seals (the motor side in the oil chamber and the impeller side in contact with the liquid), together with high-quality components, ensure excellent performance and product reliability.
A4 submersible pumps
The A4 series submersible pumps are equipped with an open single-channel impeller, i.e. an impeller with excellent pumping characteristics for raw wastewater and a function for cutting fibrous materials. On the one hand, there is only one channel, which limits the division of the flow in the pump’s hydraulic system, preventing fibrous materials from winding around the impeller; on the other hand, long elements are cut by the cutting pair consisting of the impeller and the pump-body cutting plate. At the same time, the impeller efficiency is significantly higher than that of pumps with free passage and Vortex-type impellers.
Installation of the A4 submersible pump
Since the A4 series pumps are intended for professional applications, in most cases they are installed on DRENO coupling feet of type: A, B or DUTY in municipal and industrial pumping stations. For their control, we offer customers advanced control systems with appropriate motor protection and safeguards against pump damage, such as two independent moisture probes in the motor and oil chambers, for example CR3.1.
