Applications
The 4-pole A series is designed for pumping clear liquids and wastewater. Its wide range and high hydraulic efficiency make this series particularly useful in water treatment plants, sewage systems, agriculture, and industrial facilities, including airports, underground public transport systems, hospitals, and hotels.
Characteristics
All major components are made of GG25 cast iron. Two separate mechanical seals (the motor side in the oil chamber and the impeller side in contact with the liquid), along with high-quality components, ensure excellent performance and product reliability.
A4 submersible pumps
The A4 series submersible pumps feature a single-channel open impeller, offering excellent performance for pumping raw wastewater and cutting fibrous materials. On the one hand, there is only one channel, which limits the division of the flow in the pump’s hydraulic system, preventing fibrous materials from wrapping around the impeller. On the other hand, long materials are cut by the cutting pair consisting of the impeller and the pump body plate. At the same time, the impeller efficiency is significantly higher than that of pumps with a free passage and a Vortex-type impeller.
Installation of the A4 submersible pump
As A4 series pumps are intended for professional applications, they are most often installed on DRENO-type coupling feet: A, B or DUTY in municipal and industrial pumping stations. For their control, we offer customers advanced control systems with appropriate motor protection and safeguards against pump damage, such as two independent moisture probes in the motor and oil chambers, e.g. CR3.1.
