Application
The A 2-pole series is designed for pumping clear liquids and raw sewage. The high-performance open single-channel impeller makes this type ideal for wastewater treatment plants, industrial sewer systems, agriculture, and dewatering.
Characteristics
All major components are made of GG25 cast iron. Two separate mechanical seals (the motor side in the oil chamber and the impeller side in contact with the liquid), together with high-quality components, ensure excellent performance and product reliability.
Advantages of A2 pumps
A2 series pumps feature an open single-channel impeller, i.e. an impeller with excellent raw sewage pumping properties and a function for cutting fibrous materials. On the one hand, there is only one channel, which limits the division of the flow in the pump’s hydraulic system, preventing fibrous materials from winding around the impeller. On the other hand, long materials are cut by the cutting pair: the impeller and the pump body plate. At the same time, the impeller efficiency is significantly higher than that of pumps with a free passage and a Vortex-type impeller.
Installation of A2 pumps
Since A2 series pumps are intended for professional applications, in most cases they are installed on DRENO coupling feet of type: A, B or DUTY in municipal and industrial pumping stations. For their control, we offer customers advanced control systems with appropriate motor protection and safeguards against pump damage, such as two independent moisture probes in the motor chamber and oil chamber, e.g. CR3.1.
