Application
The A 2-pole series is designed for pumping clear liquids and raw wastewater. The high-performance open single-channel impeller makes this type ideal for wastewater treatment plants, industrial sewage systems, agriculture, and drainage.
Characteristics
All major components are made of GG25 cast iron. Two separate mechanical seals (the motor side in the oil chamber and the impeller side in contact with the liquid), along with high-quality components, ensure excellent performance and product reliability.
Advantages of A2 pumps
A2 series pumps feature a single-channel impeller, i.e. an impeller with excellent pumping properties for pretreated wastewater. The pump has only one channel, which limits flow separation in the hydraulic system, preventing fibrous materials from winding around the impeller. At the same time, the impeller efficiency is significantly higher than that of pumps with a free passage and a Vortex-type impeller.
Installation of A2 pumps
Since A2 series pumps are intended for professional applications, they are most often installed on DRENO coupling feet of type: A, B or DUTY in municipal and industrial pumping stations. For their control, we offer customers advanced control systems with appropriate motor protection and safeguards against pump damage, such as two independent humidity probes in the motor and oil chambers, e.g. CR3.1.
