A4-A6 sewage pumps with 4- and 6-pole motors are designed for pumping and conveying clear liquids and wastewater. Their wide range and excellent hydraulic performance make these series particularly suitable for wastewater treatment plants, sewer systems, livestock farming, and industrial pipelines, such as those at airports, in metro systems, hospitals, and hotels.
Features
All major components are made of GG25 cast iron. Two separate mechanical seals (the motor side in the oil chamber and the impeller side in contact with the liquid), together with high-quality components, ensure excellent performance and product reliability.
Advantages of A4-A6 sewage pumps
The four- and six-pole DRENO raw sewage pumps are professional products for use in municipal and industrial sewer systems, as well as in specialized pumping stations. Thanks to the large impeller passage, they can easily pump raw sewage containing solid and fibrous matter; small stones, gravel, and debris are not a problem either. The single-vane closed impeller is resistant to clogging by wipes, strings, and kitchen waste. The advantage of single-channel impeller sewage pumps is that solid matter entering through the inlet does not split the flow in the impeller; instead, the entire contents are discharged outward and move along the pump housing wall to the volute.
Control
The A4 and A6 raw sewage pumps are high-power models rated from 10 to 60kW and are available exclusively in three-phase versions, so pump control is carried out using an external signal. For controlling A4 and A6 pumps, we recommend and offer professional power and control panels with relay-contactor or microprocessor-based configurations. SMS fault notifications and internet monitoring are also available.
Installation
The most common method of installing pumps in sewer systems is mounting them on a coupling elbow of type A or B in raw sewage or stormwater pumping stations. Mobile installations on a stand of type P are used less frequently. To lower the pump into the pumping station tank along guide rails, stainless-steel chains or stainless-steel cables of suitable strength are used. These are attached to holes in the handle on top of the pump, ensuring that the pump remains properly balanced during lowering. When installing the coupling foot, remember to maintain a flat tank bottom beneath the pump; otherwise, cavitation and accelerated wear may occur.
Features
• Highly efficient single-channel closed impeller,
• Moisture sensor in the oil chamber, protecting the motor against water ingress if the mechanical seal behind the impeller is damaged,
• Side flanged outlet enables installation on a coupling foot and easy installation of an elbow connection to a flexible hose using a clamp or quick coupling,
• T1-T2 thermal protection built into the motor winding, for connection to a suitable control panel,
• 10m H07RNF power cable with free terminals,
• Warranty and post-warranty service,
• 24-month warranty.
Special versions for liquid temperatures up to 60°C with the pump fully submerged can be manufactured to order (not for continuous operation).
