A4-A6 sewage pumps with 4- and 6-pole motors are designed for pumping and transporting clear liquids and wastewater. Their wide operating range and excellent hydraulic performance make these series particularly suitable for wastewater treatment plants, sewage systems, livestock farming, and industrial pipelines, such as those at airports, in underground railway systems, hospitals, and hotels.
Features
All major components are made of GG25 cast iron. Two separate mechanical seals (the motor side in the oil chamber and the impeller side in contact with the liquid), together with high-quality components, ensure excellent performance and product reliability.
Advantages of A4-A6 sewage pumps
The four- and six-pole DRENO raw sewage pumps are professional products designed for municipal and industrial sewage systems, as well as special pumping stations. Thanks to the large clearance in the impeller passage, they can easily pump raw sewage containing solid and fibrous materials; small stones, gravel, and debris are not a problem either. The single-channel closed impeller resists clogging by wipes, cords, and kitchen waste. The advantage of single-channel impeller sewage pumps is that solid materials entering through the inlet do not divide the flow in the impeller; instead, the entire contents are discharged outward and travel along the pump casing wall to the outlet.
Control
The A4 and A6 raw sewage pumps are high-power models rated from 10 to 60kW and are available exclusively in three-phase versions, so pump control is carried out using an external signal. To control A4 and A6 pumps, we recommend and offer professional power and control panels with relay-contactor or microprocessor-based control. SMS failure notifications and internet monitoring are also available.
Installation
The most common method of installing sewage pumps is mounting them on a type A coupling elbow or a type B coupling elbow in raw sewage or stormwater pumping stations. Mobile stand-mounted installations, such as type P, are used less frequently. To lower the pump into the pumping station tank along guide rails, stainless steel chains or stainless steel cables of suitable strength are used. They are attached to the holes in the handle at the top of the pump, ensuring that the pump remains properly balanced during lowering. When installing the coupling foot, remember to maintain a flat tank bottom beneath the pump; otherwise, cavitation may occur and the pump may wear out more quickly.
Features
• Highly efficient single-channel closed impeller,
• Moisture sensor in the oil chamber, protecting the motor from flooding if the mechanical seal behind the impeller fails,
• Side flanged outlet enables mounting on a coupling foot and easy installation of an elbow connection for a flexible hose with a hose clamp or quick coupling,
• T1-T2 thermal protection built into the motor winding, for connection to a suitable control panel,
• 10m H07RNF power cable with free terminals,
• Warranty and post-warranty service,
• 24-month warranty.
Special versions for liquid temperatures up to 60°C with the pump fully submerged can be made to order (not for continuous operation).
