A4-A6 sewage pumps, with 4- and 6-pole motors, are designed for pumping and transporting clear liquids and wastewater. Their wide range and excellent hydraulic performance make these series particularly suitable for wastewater treatment plants, sewage systems, livestock farming, and industrial pipelines, such as those at airports, in metro systems, hospitals, and hotels.
Characteristics
All major components are made of GG25 cast iron. Two separate mechanical seals (the motor side in the oil chamber and the impeller side in contact with the liquid), together with high-quality components, ensure excellent performance and product reliability.
Advantages of A4-A6 sewage pumps
Four- and six-pole DRENO pumps for raw wastewater are professional products for use in municipal and industrial sewage systems, as well as in special pumping stations. Thanks to the large impeller passage, they can pump raw wastewater containing solid and fibrous matter without difficulty; small stones, gravel, and other debris are not a problem either. The single-vane closed impeller is resistant to clogging by wipes, strings, and kitchen waste. The advantage of single-channel impeller sewage pumps is that solid matter entering through the inlet does not split the flow in the impeller; instead, the entire contents are discharged outward and travel along the pump housing wall to the outlet.
Control
A4 and A6 raw wastewater pumps are high-power models rated from 10 to 60kW and are exclusively three-phase, so pump control is carried out using an external signal. For controlling A4 and A6 pumps, we recommend and offer professional power and control panels with relay-contactor or microprocessor-based systems. These can also provide fault notifications via SMS and internet monitoring.
Installation
The most common method of installing pumps in sewage systems is mounting them on a coupling elbow of type A or type B in raw wastewater or stormwater pumping stations. Mobile installations on a stand of type P are used less frequently. To lower the pump into the pumping-station tank along guide rails, slings in the form of a stainless-steel chain or stainless-steel cable of suitable strength are used. These are attached to the holes in the handle at the top of the pump, ensuring proper pump balance during lowering. When installing the coupling foot, remember to maintain a flat tank bottom beneath the pump; otherwise, cavitation may occur, resulting in faster wear.
Features
• High-efficiency single-channel closed impeller,
• Moisture sensor in the oil chamber, protecting the motor from water ingress if the mechanical seal behind the impeller is damaged,
• Side flanged outlet enables installation on a coupling foot and facilitates the installation of an elbow connection to a flexible hose using a clamp or quick coupling,
• T1-T2 thermal protection built into the motor winding, for connection to the appropriate control panel,
• 10m H07RNF power cable terminated with bare leads,
• Warranty and post-warranty service,
• 24-month warranty.
Special versions for liquid temperatures of up to 60°C with the pump fully submerged are available on request (not for continuous operation).
