Application
The 4-pole A series is designed for pumping clear liquids and wastewater. Its wide range and high hydraulic efficiency make this series particularly useful in water treatment plants, sewer systems, agriculture, and industrial facilities, including airports, underground public transportation systems, hospitals, and hotels.
Characteristics
All main components are made of GG25 cast iron. Two separate mechanical seals (the motor-side seal in the oil chamber and the impeller-side seal in contact with the liquid), together with high-quality components, ensure excellent performance and product reliability.
A4 submersible pumps
The A4 series submersible pumps feature a single-channel open impeller, providing excellent performance for pumping raw wastewater while cutting fibrous materials. On the one hand, the single channel limits flow separation in the pump’s hydraulic system, preventing fibrous materials from winding around the impeller; on the other hand, long objects are cut by the cutting pair formed by the impeller and the pump casing plate. At the same time, the impeller efficiency is significantly higher than that of pumps with a free passage and Vortex-type impellers.
Installation of the A4 submersible pump
Since A4 series pumps are intended for professional applications, they are usually installed on DRENO-type coupling feet: A, B or DUTY in municipal and industrial pumping stations. For controlling these pumps, we offer customers advanced control systems with appropriate motor protection and safeguards against pump damage, such as two independent moisture probes in the motor and oil chambers, e.g. CR3.1.
