The Alpha V PRO septic tank pump is designed for pumping liquids from municipal wastewater. Its flexibility and compact size make it particularly suitable for pumping domestic wastewater.

Advantages of Alpha V PRO free-passage septic tank pumps
The Alpha V PRO series pumps are a more advanced version of the domestic Alpha V pumps. This version is distinguished primarily by its suitability for operation in harsh conditions, including potentially explosive atmospheres. The manufacturer has provided ATEX certification for the pumps and essential equipment such as a special cable with a gland and an ATEX control panel (available on request). The PRO version has only one free-passage size beneath the impeller, namely 50 mm, which works successfully with discharge pipelines from DN50 upward.
The open six-blade Vortex impellers handle even fibrous wastewater content perfectly, whereas typical macerators act like winding reels. Macerator blades, which quickly become dull in wastewater, act as wedges and block the pump. Wastewater pumps with free passage beneath the impeller are free from these disadvantages. The impeller's thick walls ensure many years of operation in raw domestic wastewater.
When selecting a septic tank pump, we always check the parameters of the available pipeline, as the diameter of the discharge pipe or the terrain geometry sometimes requires greater power.
Control
Alpha V PRO septic tank pumps are available in various versions combining single- and three-phase power supplies with control by a built-in float switch (230V only) or an external signal. For domestic applications, we recommend the simple M121 (230V) or M131 (400V) controllers. For more demanding users and two-pump pumping stations, we offer professional relay-and-contactor-type power and control switchboards: SPP and SPS.
Possible applications
With a suitable hose connection, it becomes a lightweight portable pump for drainage and handling liquids with a high content of solids (gravel, sand, and waste). The Alpha V PRO pump is used for drainage in mines, transferring process water at wastewater treatment plants, and in difficult industrial conditions. The Alpha V PRO has stable feet extending from the pump body, providing sufficient clearance beneath the body for water intake.
Like every DRENO wastewater pump, the Alpha V PRO comes as standard with a 10-meter power cable.
