The Alpha V PRO sewage pump is designed for pumping liquids from municipal wastewater. Its flexibility and compact size make it particularly suitable for pumping domestic wastewater.

All main components are made of GG20 cast iron. The mechanical and lip seals ensure proper operation of the product.
Advantages of Alpha V PRO sewage pumps with a free passage
Alpha V PRO series pumps are a more advanced version of the household Alpha V pumps. This version is primarily designed for operation in harsh conditions, including potentially explosive atmospheres. The manufacturer has provided ATEX certificates for the pumps, as well as the necessary equipment, such as a special cable with a cable gland and an ATEX control panel (available to order). The PRO version has only one free passage size beneath the impeller, namely 50 mm, which works successfully with discharge pipelines from DN50 upward.
Open six-blade Vortex impellers handle even fibrous wastewater content perfectly, whereas typical grinders act like winders. Grinder blades that quickly become blunt in wastewater act like wedges and block the pump. Sewage pumps with a free passage beneath the impeller are free from these drawbacks. The impeller’s thick walls are sufficient for many years of operation in raw domestic wastewater.
When selecting a sewage pump, we always check the parameters of the available pipeline, as sometimes the diameter of the discharge pipe or the terrain geometry requires the use of greater power.
Control
Alpha V PRO sewage pumps are available in various versions combining single- and three-phase power supplies with control by a built-in float (230V only) or an external signal. For domestic applications, we recommend the simple M121 (230V) or M131 (400V) controllers. For more demanding users and dual-pump lifting stations, we offer professional relay- and contactor-based power and control cabinets: SPP and SPS.
Possible applications
With a suitable hose connection, the pump becomes a lightweight portable pump for drainage and for handling liquids with a high solids content (gravel, sand, debris). The Alpha V PRO pump is used for drainage in mines, transferring process water at wastewater treatment plants, and in demanding industrial conditions. The Alpha V PRO has stable feet extending from the pump body, providing sufficient clearance beneath the body for water intake.
Like every DRENO sewage pump, the Alpha V PRO comes standard with a 10-meter power cable.
