Characteristics
The main components are made of GG20 cast iron. In the standard configuration, the lip seal is installed on the motor side and the mechanical seal on the impeller side. The “EVO” version of the pump features a double mechanical seal located in the oil chamber.

The parameters of the Alpha V pump provide an alternative to pumps with macerators, which often become clogged and expose users to operational difficulties. The free passage under the impeller allows contaminants up to 40 mm in size to pass through, ensuring long-term operation without the need for intervention. Open six-blade Vortex impellers handle even fibrous sewage content perfectly, whereas macerators act like winding devices. Macerator blades quickly become blunt in sewage, acting like wedges and blocking the pump. Sewage pumps with free passage under the impeller are free from these drawbacks. The impeller’s thick walls are sufficient for many years of operation in raw domestic sewage. When selecting a pump, check the parameters of the available pipeline, as the discharge pipe diameter or terrain geometry may sometimes require greater power.
Control
Alpha V is available in four versions, combining single-phase and three-phase power supplies with control by an integrated float switch or an external signal. To control septic tank pumps (except versions with an integrated float switch), we recommend the simple M121 (230 V) or M131 (400 V) controllers. For more demanding users and two-pump pumping stations, we offer professional power and control panels with relay-contactor and microprocessor control.
Possible applications
With a suitable hose connection, it becomes a lightweight portable pump for drainage and handling liquids with a high content of solids (gravel, sand, debris). The Alpha V septic tank pump can easily water a garden with rainwater, drain a flooded garage or basement, and pump water from a pond or ditch into another tank. Alpha V has stable feet extending from the pump body, allowing it to stand on level ground while providing sufficient clearance beneath the body for water intake.
Like every DRENO sewage pump, it comes standard with a 10-meter power cable. All Alpha V pumps have a vertical outlet and therefore are not compatible with coupling feet such as the EASY.
