Features
The main components are made of GG20 cast iron. In the standard configuration, the lip seal is installed on the motor side, while the mechanical seal is installed on the impeller side. The “EVO” version of the pump features a double mechanical seal located in the oil chamber.

The parameters of the Alpha V pump provide an alternative to pumps with macerators, which often become clogged and cause operational difficulties for the user. The 35 mm free passage beneath the impeller allows long-term operation without the need for intervention. Open six-blade Vortex impellers handle even fibrous wastewater contents perfectly, while macerators act like winding devices. Macerator blades quickly become blunt in wastewater, acting like wedges and blocking the pump. Sewage pumps with a free passage beneath the impeller do not have these drawbacks. The impeller’s thick walls ensure many years of operation in raw domestic wastewater.
When selecting a pump, check the parameters of the available pipeline, as the diameter of the discharge pipe or the terrain geometry may sometimes require the use of greater power.
Control
Alpha V is available in four versions, combining single- and three-phase power supplies with control by a built-in float or an external signal. For controlling sewage pumps (except versions with a built-in float), we recommend the simple controllers M121 (230 V) or M131 (400 V), or IPC 140 in version M (230 V) or T (400 V). For more demanding users and twin-pump stations, we offer professional power and control panels with relay-contactor and microprocessor-based configurations.
Possible applications
With a suitable hose connection, it becomes a lightweight portable pump for drainage and handling liquids with a high content of solids (gravel, sand, and debris). The Alpha V sewage pump can easily water a garden with rainwater, drain a flooded garage or basement, and pump water from a pond or ditch into another tank. Alpha V has stable feet extending from the pump body, allowing it to stand on a level surface while providing sufficient clearance beneath the body for water intake.
Like every DRENO sewage pump, it comes standard with a 10-meter power cable. All Alpha V pumps have a vertical outlet and therefore are not compatible with coupling feet, such as the EASY.
