Specifications
The main components are made of GG20 cast iron. In the standard configuration, the lip seal is installed on the motor side, while the mechanical seal is installed on the impeller side. The “EVO” version of the pump features a double mechanical seal located in the oil chamber.

The 35 mm free passage beneath the impeller allows long-term operation without the need for intervention. Open six-blade Vortex impellers handle even fibrous wastewater content perfectly, while macerators act like winders. Macerator blades quickly become blunt in wastewater, acting like wedges and blocking the pump. Wastewater pumps with a free passage beneath the impeller do not have these drawbacks. The impeller’s thick walls ensure many years of operation in raw domestic wastewater.
When selecting a pump, check the parameters of the available pipeline, as the discharge pipe diameter or terrain geometry may sometimes require a higher power rating.
Control
The Alpha V is available in four versions combining single- and three-phase power supplies with control by an integrated float switch or an external signal. To control septic tank pumps, except for versions with an integrated float switch, we recommend the simple controllers M121 (230 V) or M131 (400 V), or the IPC 140 in version M (230 V) or T (400 V). For more demanding users and twin-pump stations, we offer professional power and control panels with relay-contactor and microprocessor-based configurations.
Possible applications
With a suitable hose connection, it becomes a lightweight portable pump for drainage and for handling liquids with a high content of solids (gravel, sand, debris). The Alpha V septic tank pump can easily water a garden with rainwater, drain a flooded garage or basement, and pump water from a pond or ditch into another tank. The Alpha V has stable feet extending from the pump body, allowing it to stand on a level surface while providing sufficient clearance beneath the body for water intake.
Like every DRENO wastewater pump, it comes standard with a 10-meter power cable. All Alpha V pumps have a vertical outlet, so they are not compatible with coupling feet, such as the EASY.
