Characteristics
The main components are made of GG20 cast iron. In the standard configuration, the lip seal is installed on the motor side, while the mechanical seal is installed on the impeller side. The “EVO” version of the pump features a double mechanical seal located in the oil chamber.

The free passage beneath the impeller allows contaminants up to 40 mm in size to pass through, ensuring long-lasting operation without the need for intervention. Open six-blade Vortex impellers handle even fibrous wastewater contents perfectly, whereas macerators act like winding devices. Macerator blades quickly become dull in wastewater, acting like wedges and blocking the pump. Sewage pumps with a free passage beneath the impeller do not have these disadvantages. The impeller’s thick walls are sufficient for many years of operation in raw domestic wastewater. When selecting a pump, check the parameters of the available pipeline, as the diameter of the discharge pipe or the terrain geometry may sometimes require a higher power rating.
Control
The Alpha V is available in four versions combining single- and three-phase power supplies with control by an integrated float or an external signal. For controlling septic tank pumps, except for versions with an integrated float, we recommend the simple M121 (230 V) or M131 (400 V) controllers M121 (230 V) or M131 (400 V). For more demanding users and two-pump sewage pumping stations, we offer professional power and control cabinets with relay-contactor and microprocessor control.
Possible applications
With a suitable hose connection, it becomes a lightweight portable pump for drainage and for handling liquids with a high content of solids, such as gravel, sand, and waste. The Alpha V septic tank pump can easily water a garden with rainwater, drain a flooded garage or basement, and pump water from a pond or ditch into another tank. The Alpha V has stable feet protruding from the pump body, allowing it to stand on level ground while providing sufficient clearance beneath the body for water intake.
Like every DRENO sewage pump, it comes standard with a 10-meter power cable. All Alpha V pumps have a vertical outlet, so they are not compatible with coupling feet such as the EASY.
