Characteristics
The main components are made of GG20 cast iron. In the standard configuration, the lip seal is installed on the motor side, while the mechanical seal is installed on the impeller side. The “EVO” version of the pump features a double mechanical seal located in the oil chamber.

The parameters of the Alpha V pump make it an alternative to pumps with macerators, which often become clogged and cause operating difficulties for the user. The free passage beneath the impeller allows contaminants up to 40 mm in size to pass through, ensuring long-term operation without the need for intervention. Open six-blade Vortex impellers handle even fibrous sewage content perfectly, whereas macerators act like winders. The blades of macerators quickly become blunt in sewage, acting like wedges and blocking the pump. Sewage pumps with a free passage beneath the impeller are free from these drawbacks. The impeller’s thick walls are sufficient for many years of operation in raw domestic sewage. When selecting a pump, check the specifications of the available pipeline, as the discharge pipe diameter or terrain geometry may sometimes require the use of a higher-power pump.
Control
Alpha V is available in four versions, combining single- and three-phase power supplies with control by a built-in float or an external signal. To control sewage pumps, except for versions with a built-in float, we recommend the simple M121 (230 V) or M131 (400 V) controllers. For more demanding users and dual-pump lifting stations, we offer professional relay-contactor and microprocessor-based power and control panels.
Possible applications
With a suitable hose connection, it becomes a lightweight portable pump for drainage and for handling liquids with a high content of solids (gravel, sand, debris). The Alpha V sewage pump can easily water a garden with rainwater, drain a flooded garage or basement, and pump water from a pond or ditch into another tank. Alpha V has stable feet extending from the pump body, allowing it to stand on level ground while providing sufficient clearance beneath the body for water intake.
Like every DRENO sewage pump, it comes standard with a 10-meter power cable. All Alpha V pumps have a vertical outlet, so they are not compatible with coupling feet such as the EASY.
