Characteristics
The main components are made of GG20 cast iron. In the standard configuration, the lip seal is installed on the motor side and the mechanical seal on the impeller side. The “EVO” version of the pump features a double mechanical seal located in the oil chamber.

The parameters of the Alpha V pump provide an alternative to pumps with macerators, which often become clogged, causing operational difficulties for the user. The free passage under the impeller for contaminants up to 40 mm in size ensures long-term operation without the need for intervention. Open six-blade Vortex impellers handle even fibrous wastewater contents excellently, whereas macerators act like winding devices. Macerator blades quickly become blunt in wastewater, acting like wedges and blocking the pump. Sewage pumps with free passage under the impeller are free from these drawbacks. The impeller’s thick walls are sufficient for many years of operation in raw domestic wastewater. When selecting a pump, check the parameters of the available pipeline, as the diameter of the discharge pipe or the terrain geometry may sometimes require the use of greater power.
Control
Alpha V is available in four versions combining single- and three-phase power supplies with control by a built-in float switch or an external signal. To control sewage pumps (except versions with a built-in float switch), we recommend the simple M121 (230 V) or M131 (400 V) controllers. For more demanding users and two-pump pumping stations, we offer professional power and control cabinets with relay-contactor and microprocessor-based configurations.
Possible applications
With a suitable hose connection, the pump becomes a lightweight, portable drainage pump for working with liquids containing large amounts of solid particles (gravel, sand, debris). The Alpha V sewage pump can easily water a garden with rainwater, drain a flooded garage or basement, and pump water from a pond or ditch into another tank. Alpha V has stable feet extending from the pump body, allowing it to stand on a level surface while providing sufficient clearance under the body for water intake.
Like every DRENO sewage pump, it comes standard with a 10-meter power cable. All Alpha V pumps have a vertical outlet, so they are not compatible with coupling feet such as EASY.
