Characteristics
All major components are made of GG20 cast iron. Mechanical and lip seals ensure proper operation of the product. They are also available in a new EVO version with a double mechanical seal in an oil chamber.

The Alpha V septic tank pump is an ideal solution for those looking for a professional product for use at home or in a small business. The specifications of the Alpha V pump provide an alternative to pumps with macerators, which often become clogged, exposing users to operational difficulties. The free passage beneath the impeller for contaminants up to 40 mm in size ensures long-term operation without the need for intervention. Open six-blade Vortex impellers handle even fibrous wastewater contents exceptionally well, whereas macerators act like winding devices. Macerator blades quickly become blunt in wastewater, acting like wedges and blocking the pump. Wastewater pumps with a free passage beneath the impeller do not have these disadvantages. The impeller’s thick walls are sufficient for many years of operation in raw domestic wastewater. When selecting a pump, the specifications of the available pipeline should be checked, as the discharge pipe diameter or the terrain geometry may sometimes require a higher output.
Control
Alpha V is available in four versions, combining single- and three-phase power supplies with control by a built-in float or an external signal. To control septic tank pumps (except versions with a built-in float), we recommend the simple M121 (230 V) or M131 (400 V) controllers. For more demanding users and dual-pump stations, we offer professional power and control panels with relay-contactor and microprocessor-based designs.
Possible applications
With a suitable hose connection, it becomes a lightweight portable pump for drainage and for handling liquids with a high content of solids (gravel, sand, and waste). The Alpha V septic tank pump can easily water a garden with rainwater, drain a flooded garage or basement, and pump water from a pond or ditch into another tank. Alpha V has stable feet extending from the pump body, allowing it to stand on level ground while providing sufficient clearance beneath the body for water intake.
Like every DRENO wastewater pump, it comes standard with a 10-meter power cable. All Alpha V pumps have a vertical outlet and therefore are not compatible with coupling feet such as EASY.
