Characteristics
All major components are made of GG20 cast iron. The mechanical and lip seals ensure the product operates correctly. They are also available in a new EVO version with a double mechanical seal in an oil chamber.

The Alpha V sewage pump is an ideal solution for those looking for a professional product for use at home or in a small business. The parameters of the Alpha V pump provide an alternative to pumps with macerators, which often become clogged, exposing users to operational difficulties. The free passage beneath the impeller allows contaminants up to 40 mm in size to pass through, ensuring long-term operation without the need for intervention. The open six-blade Vortex impellers handle even fibrous wastewater contents excellently, whereas macerators act like winding devices. Macerator blades quickly become blunt in wastewater, acting like wedges and blocking the pump. Sewage pumps with a free passage beneath the impeller are free from these disadvantages. The impeller’s thick walls are sufficient for many years of operation in raw domestic wastewater. When selecting a pump, check the parameters of the available pipeline, as the diameter of the discharge pipe or the terrain geometry may sometimes require the use of greater power.
Control
The Alpha V is available in four versions, combining single- and three-phase power supplies with control by an integrated float switch or an external signal. For controlling sewage pumps (except versions with an integrated float switch), we recommend the simple M121 (230 V) or M131 (400 V) controllers. For more demanding users and two-pump lifting stations, we offer professional power and control panels with relay-contactor and microprocessor-based designs.
Possible applications
When fitted with a suitable hose connection, it becomes a lightweight portable pump for drainage and handling liquids with a high content of solids (gravel, sand, and waste). The Alpha V sewage pump can easily water a garden with rainwater, drain a flooded garage or basement, and pump water from a pond or ditch into another tank. The Alpha V has stable feet extending from the pump body, allowing it to stand on level ground while providing sufficient clearance beneath the body for water intake.
Like every DRENO sewage pump, it comes standard with a 10-meter power cable. All Alpha V pumps have a vertical outlet, meaning they are not compatible with coupling feet such as EASY.
