All main components are made of GG20 cast iron. The mechanical and lip seals ensure proper product operation. They are also available in the new EVO version with a double mechanical seal in the oil chamber.

The parameters of the Alpha V pump make it an alternative to pumps with a macerator, which often becomes clogged, exposing users to operational difficulties. The free passage beneath the impeller allows contaminants up to 40 mm in size to pass through, ensuring long-term operation without the need for intervention. Open, six-blade Vortex impellers handle even fibrous wastewater contents perfectly, whereas macerators act like winding machines. Macerator blades, which quickly become blunt in wastewater, act like wedges and block the pump. Wastewater pumps with a free passage beneath the impeller do not have these disadvantages. The impeller’s thick walls ensure many years of operation in raw domestic wastewater. When selecting a pump, check the parameters of the available pipeline, as the discharge pipe diameter or terrain geometry may sometimes require the use of a higher-powered model.
Control
Alpha V is available in four versions combining single-phase or three-phase power supply with control by a built-in float switch or an external signal. For controlling septic tank pumps (except versions with a built-in float switch), we recommend the simple M121 (230 V) or M131 (400 V) controllers. For more demanding users and dual-pump pumping stations, we offer professional relay-contactor and microprocessor-based power and control cabinets.
Possible Applications
With a suitable hose connection, it becomes a lightweight portable pump for drainage and handling liquids with a high content of solids (gravel, sand, debris). The Alpha V septic tank pump can easily water a garden with rainwater, drain a flooded garage or basement, and pump water from a pond or ditch into another tank. Alpha V has stable feet extending from the pump body, allowing it to stand on level ground while providing sufficient clearance beneath the body for water intake.
Like every DRENO wastewater pump, it comes standard with a 10-meter power cable. All Alpha V pumps have a vertical outlet and therefore are not compatible with coupling feet such as EASY.
