Characteristics
All main components are made of GG20 cast iron. The mechanical and lip seals ensure the product operates correctly. They are also available in a new EVO version with a double mechanical seal in the oil chamber.
Advantages of Alpha V pumps
The Alpha V sewage pump is an ideal solution for those looking for a professional product for use at home or in a small business. The Alpha V pump’s specifications offer an alternative to pumps with macerators, which often become clogged and cause operating difficulties for users. The 35 mm free passage under the impeller allows long-term operation without the need for intervention. Open six-blade Vortex impellers handle even fibrous wastewater contents perfectly, while macerators act like winding devices. Macerator blades quickly become blunt in wastewater, acting like wedges and blocking the pump. Sewage pumps with a free passage under the impeller do not have these disadvantages. The impeller’s thick walls are sufficient for many years of operation in raw domestic wastewater.
When selecting a pump, check the specifications of the available pipeline, as the diameter of the discharge pipe or the terrain geometry may sometimes require greater power.
Control
Alpha V is available in four versions combining single-phase and three-phase power supplies with control by a built-in float switch or an external signal. To control sewage pumps (except versions with a built-in float switch), we recommend the simple M121 M121 (230 V) or M131 M131 (400 V) controllers, or IPC 140 in version M (230 V) or T (400 V). For more demanding users and dual-pump lifting stations, we offer professional power and control panels with relay-contactor and microprocessor-based configurations.
Possible applications
With a suitable hose connection, it becomes a lightweight portable pump for drainage and handling liquids with a high content of solids (gravel, sand, waste). The Alpha V sewage pump can easily water a garden with rainwater, drain a flooded garage or basement, and pump water from a pond or ditch into another tank. Alpha V has stable feet extending from the pump body, allowing it to stand on a level surface while providing sufficient clearance beneath the body for water intake.
Like every DRENO sewage pump, it comes standard with a 10-meter power cable. All Alpha V pumps have a vertical outlet, so they are not compatible with coupling feet, such as the EASY.
