Characteristics
All main components are made of GG20 cast iron. The mechanical and lip seals ensure correct product operation. They are also available in a new EVO version with a double mechanical seal in an oil chamber.

The Alpha V sewage pump is an ideal solution for people looking for a professional product for use at home or in a small business. The specifications of the Alpha V pump provide an alternative to pumps with a macerator, which often becomes clogged, exposing the user to operating difficulties. The 40 mm free passage beneath the impeller allows long-term operation without the need for intervention. Open six-blade Vortex impellers handle even fibrous sewage contents perfectly, whereas macerators work like winding devices. Macerator blades quickly become blunt in sewage, acting like wedges and blocking the pump. Sewage pumps with a free passage beneath the impeller are free from these drawbacks. The impeller's thick walls are sufficient for many years of operation in raw domestic sewage.
When selecting a pump, check the specifications of the available pipeline, as the diameter of the discharge pipe or the terrain geometry may sometimes require greater power.
Control
Alpha V is available in four versions combining single- and three-phase power supplies with control by a built-in float switch or an external signal. To control sewage pumps (except versions with a built-in float switch), we recommend the simple M121 (230 V) or M131 (400 V) controllers, or the IPC 140 in the M version (230 V) or T version (400 V). For more demanding users and two-pump lift stations, we offer professional power and control switchboards with relay-contactor or microprocessor-based designs.
Possible applications
With a suitable hose connection, it becomes a lightweight, portable pump for drainage and for handling liquids with a high content of solids (gravel, sand, debris). The Alpha V sewage pump can easily water a garden with rainwater, drain a flooded garage or basement, and pump water from a pond or ditch into another tank. Alpha V has stable feet extending from the pump body, allowing it to stand on level ground and providing adequate clearance beneath the body for water intake.
Like every DRENO sewage pump, it comes standard with a 10-meter power cable. All Alpha V pumps have a vertical outlet and therefore are not compatible with coupling feet, such as the EASY.
