Characteristics
All major components are made of GG20 cast iron. Mechanical and lip seals ensure the product operates correctly. They are also available in the new EVO version with a double mechanical seal in the oil chamber.

The parameters of the Alpha V pump provide an alternative to pumps with macerators, which often become clogged, exposing users to operational difficulties. The 35 mm free passage beneath the impeller for solids ensures long-term operation without the need for intervention. Open, six-blade Vortex impellers handle even fibrous sewage contents perfectly, whereas macerators act like winders. Macerator blades quickly become blunt in sewage, acting like wedges and blocking the pump. Sewage pumps with a free passage beneath the impeller do not have these drawbacks. The impeller’s thick walls are sufficient for many years of operation in raw domestic sewage.
When selecting a pump, the parameters of the available pipeline should be checked, as the diameter of the discharge pipe or the terrain geometry may sometimes require the use of greater power.
Control
Alpha V is available in four versions, combining single- and three-phase power supplies with control by an integrated float switch or an external signal. To control septic tank pumps (except versions with an integrated float switch), we recommend the simple M121 controllers M121 (230 V) or M131 (400 V), or IPC 140 in the M version (230 V) or T version (400 V). For more demanding users and dual-pump pumping stations, we offer professional relay-contactor and microprocessor-controlled power and control panels.
Possible applications
With a suitable hose connection, the pump becomes a lightweight, portable drainage pump suitable for liquids with a high solids content (gravel, sand, debris). The Alpha V septic tank pump can easily water a garden with rainwater, drain a flooded garage or basement, and pump water from a pond or ditch into another tank. Alpha V has stable feet extending from the pump body, allowing it to stand on level ground while providing sufficient clearance beneath the body for water intake.
Like every DRENO sewage pump, it comes standard with a 10-meter power cable. All Alpha V pumps have a vertical outlet and therefore are not compatible with coupling feet, e.g. the EASY type.
