Characteristics
All major components are made of GG20 cast iron. Mechanical and lip seals ensure the product operates correctly. They are also available in a new EVO version with a double mechanical seal in the oil chamber.

The Alpha V pump’s specifications offer an alternative to pumps with macerators, which often become clogged, causing operational difficulties for the user. The 35 mm free passage under the impeller for solids ensures long-term operation without the need for intervention. Open six-blade Vortex impellers handle even fibrous wastewater contents perfectly, while macerators act like winders. Macerator blades quickly become blunt in wastewater, acting like wedges and blocking the pump. Wastewater pumps with a free passage under the impeller are free from these disadvantages. The impeller’s thick walls ensure many years of operation in raw domestic wastewater.
When selecting a pump, check the specifications of the available pipeline, as the discharge pipe diameter or terrain geometry may sometimes require greater power.
Control
Alpha V is available in four versions combining single- and three-phase power supplies with control by a built-in float or an external signal. To control septic tank pumps (except versions with a built-in float), we recommend the simple controllers M121 (230 V) or M131 (400 V), or IPC 140 in version M (230 V) or T (400 V). For more demanding users and two-pump pumping stations, we offer professional power and control panels with relay-contactor and microprocessor control.
Possible applications
With a suitable hose connection, it becomes a lightweight portable pump for drainage and handling liquids with a high content of solids (gravel, sand, debris). The Alpha V septic tank pump can easily water a garden with rainwater, drain a flooded garage or basement, and pump water from a pond or ditch into another tank. Alpha V has stable feet extending from the pump body, allowing it to stand on level ground while providing sufficient clearance beneath the body for water intake.
Like every DRENO wastewater pump, it comes standard with a 10-meter power cable. All Alpha V pumps have a vertical outlet, which means they are not compatible with coupling feet, e.g. the EASY. type.
