Characteristics
All main components are made of GG20 cast iron. The mechanical and lip seals ensure correct operation of the product. They are also available in a new EVO version with a double mechanical seal in an oil chamber.

The parameters of the Alpha V pump provide an alternative to pumps with macerators, which often become clogged, exposing users to operational difficulties. The free passage under the impeller allows contaminants up to 40 mm in size to pass through, ensuring long-term operation without the need for intervention. Open six-blade Vortex impellers handle even fibrous wastewater contents perfectly, whereas macerators act like winding reels. Macerator blades quickly become blunt in wastewater, acting like wedges and blocking the pump. Wastewater pumps with a free passage under the impeller do not have these drawbacks. The impeller’s thick walls ensure many years of operation in raw domestic wastewater. When selecting a pump, check the parameters of the available pipeline, as the discharge pipe diameter or the terrain’s geometry may sometimes require the use of greater power.
Control
Alpha V is available in four versions, combining single- and three-phase power supplies with control by an integrated float switch or an external signal. To control septic tank pumps, except for versions with an integrated float switch, we recommend the simple M121 (230V) or M131 (400V) controllers. For more demanding users and twin-pump pumping stations, we offer professional power and control panels with relay-contactor and microprocessor-based configurations.
Possible applications
With a suitable hose connection, it becomes a lightweight portable pump for drainage and working with liquids containing large amounts of solid matter (gravel, sand, and waste). The Alpha V septic tank pump can easily water a garden with rainwater, drain a flooded garage or basement, and pump water from a pond or ditch into another tank. Alpha V has stable feet extending from the pump body, allowing it to stand on level ground while providing adequate clearance beneath the body for water intake.
Like every DRENO wastewater pump, it comes standard with a 10-meter power cable. All Alpha V pumps have a vertical outlet and therefore are not compatible with coupling feet such as EASY.
