Applications
The IBO AJ 50/60 pressure booster set with PC-15 is designed for the automatic intake and pumping of clean, technically untreated, cold raw water in single-family homes, farms, recreational facilities, and allotments. Its suction capacity reaches up to 7 m. The set pumps water from wells, tanks, and private water sources, and also increases pressure in the system supplying the installation. The set is not a water-treatment device – when using the water for other purposes, we recommend ensuring appropriate treatment.
The PC-15 automatic pressure controller starts the pump when water is drawn and switches it off when water use ends. The built-in dry-run protection cuts off the power supply when there is no water, protecting the pump from damage. The dedicated equipment, factory-matched to the pump, simplifies the process of completing and installing the system. The set operates on a 1~ 230 V / 50 Hz power supply.
AJ 50/60 pressure booster set with PC-15 – description and technical data
The set is based on a single-stage, self-priming centrifugal pump with a Venturi tube. The pump body, shaft, and intermediate wall are made of AISI 304 stainless steel; the impeller and diffuser are made of PPO polymer; the bracket is made of cast iron; and the mechanical seal is made of ceramic, graphite, and NBR. Thermal protection is built into the motor winding.
The pump is controlled by the PC-15 automatic pressure controller. The system with the controller does not require space for a tank, so the entire unit occupies minimal space and reduces the number of connections in the installation.
