AJ 50/60 hydrofor 50 by IBO is a hydrophore set for automatic intake and pumping of raw water in households. It combines a single-stage, self-suction AJ 50/60 surface pump with a power of 1.1 kW with a 50 l diaphragm tank and pressure automation. After unscrewing the draw-off point, the pump starts automatically, and when it is closed, it turns off - the installation operates without manual operation.

Application
The AJ 50/60 hydrophore set with a 50 l hydrophore by IBO is designed for automatic collection and pumping of technically clean, cold raw water in single-family houses, farms, recreational facilities and on allotments. The suction capacity reaches up to 7 m. It is suitable for pumping water from wells, tanks and own intakes, as well as for increasing the pressure in the system supplying the installation. The set is not a water treatment device - when using it for other purposes, we recommend ensuring appropriate preparation.
The pressure switch automatically starts and disconnects the pump depending on the pressure in the installation, and the 50 l diaphragm tank stabilizes the pressure and limits the frequency of engine starts. Dedicated equipment pre-selected for the pump simplifies the process of completing and assembling the installation. The set operates with a power supply of 1~ 230 V / 50 Hz.
Features of AJ 50/60 hydrophore 50 – description and technical data
The basis of the set is a single-stage, self-suction centrifugal pump with a Venturi tube. Pump body, shaft and interwall made of AISI 304 stainless steel, impeller and diffuser made of PPO polymer, console made of cast iron, mechanical stuffing box made of ceramics, graphite and NBR. Thermal protection built into the motor winding.
The pressure gauge is mounted on a five-way discharge outlet, which creates one connection node for the tank, installation and automation - this facilitates the distribution of the installation in many directions. The anti-vibration hose limits the transfer of pump vibrations to the tank and piping.
In addition to the classic pump + tank configuration, the AJ 50/60 pump itself can be connected to PC or SK series hydrophore machines, as well as to the IVR-02 frequency converter. Yes - the pressure switch starts the pump when the draw-off point is unscrewed and turns it off when it is closed. The expansion tank stabilizes the pressure and limits the frequency of engine starts.

From what depth does the pump suck water?
The suction capacity of the set reaches up to 7 m. The pump should be mounted in a horizontal position, and the suction pipe should be as short as possible and tight along its entire length, which makes it easier to prime the pump before starting.
