The IBO AJ 50/60 with a 24 L compact pressure tank is a compact hydrophore set for the automatic intake and pumping of raw water in households. It combines a single-stage, self-priming AJ 50/60 surface pump with a power rating of 1.1 kW, a 24 L diaphragm tank, and pressure automation. In the compact version, the pressure gauge is screwed directly into the pump, creating a compact system with fewer connections. When a water outlet is opened, the pump starts automatically; when it is closed, the pump switches off.

Applications
The IBO AJ 50/60 hydrophore set with a 24 L compact pressure tank is designed for the automatic intake and pumping of technically clean, cold raw water in single-family homes, farms, recreational facilities, and allotments. Its suction capacity reaches up to 7 m. It is suitable for pumping water from wells, tanks, and private intakes, as well as for increasing pressure in a system supplying an installation. The set does not treat water – if the water is to be used for other purposes, we recommend ensuring appropriate water treatment.
The pressure switch automatically starts and disconnects the pump depending on the pressure in the installation, while the 24 L diaphragm tank stabilizes the pressure and reduces the frequency of motor starts. The dedicated equipment factory-selected for the pump simplifies the process of completing and installing the system. The set operates on a 1~ 230 V / 50 Hz power supply.
Features of the AJ 50/60 with 24 L compact pressure tank – description and technical data
The set is based on a single-stage, self-priming centrifugal pump with a Venturi tube. The pump body, shaft, and intermediate wall are made of AISI 304 stainless steel; the impeller and diffuser are made of PPO polymer; the bracket is made of cast iron; and the mechanical seal is made of ceramic, graphite, and NBR. Thermal protection is built into the motor winding.
In the compact version, the pressure gauge is screwed directly into the pump, without a five-way discharge outlet. This creates a more compact system with fewer connections while retaining fully automatic control. The anti-vibration hose limits the transmission of pump vibrations to the tank and piping.
In addition to the classic pump + tank configuration, the AJ 50/60 pump itself can be connected to PC or SK series hydrophore controllers, as well as to the IVR-02 frequency converter.
