Vertical diaphragm tanks designed to store water in water supply systems. IBO diaphragm tanks are intended to stabilize water pressure and increase the effective volume of the water supply system. They are used with pumps whose parameters correspond to those of the tank.
The tanks are made of thick carbon steel and coated with a special anti-corrosion paint. Inside the tanks are EPDM rubber diaphragms, forming a membrane between the water inside and the tank’s outer shell. Compressed air is located between the diaphragm and the tank casing; under pressure, it forces water out of the tank.
When used in pressure booster sets, the tanks can reduce the number of times the pump starts within a given period, which has a beneficial effect on the service life of the entire system. The volume of water inside is the difference between the volume of the casing and the volume of air surrounding the diaphragm.
Applications
Combined with surface or submersible pumps, they form pressure booster sets designed to supply water from private water sources to plots of land, single-family and multi-family homes, farms, and businesses.
