The IBO ITALY 8" FXB 70-7 submersible pump is a multistage, cast-iron construction manufactured in Italy, designed for extracting and pumping raw water in large water supply and industrial systems, as well as in fire protection and irrigation systems, before treatment. Its larger diameter than the FX6 series allows it to achieve higher flow rates, while the option of horizontal operation further increases installation flexibility.

Applications
The 8" FXB pump is designed for extracting raw water from deep, wide water intakes for multifamily homes, farms, irrigation systems, fire protection systems, industry, and drainage. The pump does not treat water – when using it for other purposes, we recommend ensuring appropriate water preparation.
The pump can operate in a vertical or horizontal position, with a maximum pumped-water temperature of 35°C. The 8" FXB 400 V submersible pump works with standard hydrofor tanks and pressure control systems selected for the scale of the installation.

The 8" FXB pump features a cast-iron construction (suction casing, diffuser, check valve – G25 cast iron) with stainless steel components – the shaft and coupling are made of AISI 420, bearing housings of AISI 316, and the filter screen, cable guard, and screws of AISI 304. The impeller is made of cast iron or bronze, depending on the model, while the seals are based on PU and NBR materials.
