The IBO ITALY 8" FXB 70-4 submersible pump is a multistage, cast-iron design manufactured in Italy, intended for drawing and pumping raw water in large water supply and industrial installations, as well as fire protection and irrigation systems, before treatment. Its larger diameter than the FX6 series enables higher flow rates, while the option of horizontal operation further increases installation flexibility.

Applications
The 8" FXB pump is designed for drawing raw water from deep, wide water intakes for multi-family homes, farms, irrigation systems, fire protection installations, industry, and drainage. The pump does not treat water – when using it for other purposes, we recommend ensuring appropriate water preparation.
The pump can operate in a vertical or horizontal position, with a maximum pumped-water temperature of 35°C. The 8" FXB 400 V submersible pump works with standard hydrophore tanks and pressure-control systems selected according to the scale of the installation.

The 8" FXB pump has a cast-iron construction (suction body, diffuser, check valve – G25 cast iron) with stainless-steel components – the shaft and coupling are made of AISI 420, bearing housings of AISI 316, and the filter screen, cable guard, and screws of AISI 304. The impeller is made of cast iron or bronze, depending on the model, while the seals use PU and NBR materials.
