The 8" FXB 110-7 submersible pump by IBO ITALY is a multistage, cast-iron Italian-made construction designed for drawing and pumping raw water in large water supply and industrial systems, as well as in fire protection and irrigation systems, before treatment. Its larger diameter than the FX6 series allows it to achieve higher capacities, while the ability to operate in a horizontal position further increases installation flexibility.

Application
The 8" FXB pump is designed for drawing raw water from deep, wide water intakes for multi-family homes, farms, irrigation systems, fire protection systems, industrial facilities, and drainage applications. The pump does not treat water – when using it for other purposes, we recommend ensuring appropriate water preparation.
The pump operates in a vertical or horizontal position, with a maximum pumped-water temperature of up to 35°C. The 8" FXB 400 V submersible pump works with standard pressure tanks and pressure-control equipment selected according to the scale of the installation.

The 8" FXB pump features a cast-iron construction (suction body, diffuser, and check valve – G25 cast iron) with stainless steel components – the shaft and coupling are made of AISI 420, bearing housings of AISI 316, and the filter screen, cable guard, and screws of AISI 304. The impeller is made of cast iron or bronze, depending on the model, while the seals are made from PU and NBR materials.
