6" SD 25-9 – submersible pump
The IBO 6" SD submersible pump is a multistage design with increased resistance to sand, intended for drawing and pumping raw water in single- and multi-family homes, farms, and industrial installations. The gray cast-iron housing and AISI 304 stainless steel components ensure durable operation in deep wells, while the floating impellers reduce the effects of periodic sand contamination in the water.
Who it is for
-
Farms and large irrigation systems – the hydraulic system’s high capacity makes it possible to supply extensive irrigation systems and drip lines.
-
Multi-family buildings and facilities with high water demand – the wide power range within the series allows the model to be selected according to the scale of the installation.
-
Industrial plants and drainage systems – the design’s increased resistance to sand makes it suitable for continuous operation and varying water quality.
-
Installers and drilling companies – the two-part design, with the motor and hydraulic section supplied separately, facilitates transport and installation in deep wells.
Application
The 6" SD series is intended for drawing and pumping technically clean raw water from drilled deep-water wells for single- and multi-family homes, farms, irrigation systems, and industrial and drainage installations. The design’s increased resistance to sand allows it to handle water containing up to 5% sand. The pump is not a water-treatment device – when using it for other purposes, we recommend ensuring appropriate water preparation.
The pumps operate in a vertical position, in wells with a minimum internal diameter of 160 mm, at a maximum pumped-water temperature of 35°C. The 6" SD 400 V submersible pump works with standard pressure tanks and pressure-control equipment selected according to the scale of the installation.
Features of the 6" SD series
The IBO 6" SD series pumps share a common multistage design and identical construction materials, regardless of the model. The individual variants differ only in their operating point on the shared performance curve – from smaller, lower-power models to high-capacity variants intended for agricultural and industrial applications.
The thermal protection built into the motor winding protects the drive against overload, while the motor’s oil cooling ensures stable operation in continuous-duty mode.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) – IBO 6" SD submersible pump
What well is the 6" SD submersible pump suitable for?
The pump is intended for wells with a minimum internal diameter of 160 mm. Before purchasing, it is advisable to check the actual diameter of the borehole to avoid installation problems or motor overheating in an excessively narrow casing.
How do I choose a pump from the 6" SD series?
The choice depends on the well depth and the amount of water required at the same time – the models differ in head and capacity, from small domestic installations to large agricultural or industrial requirements. If you have any doubts, we encourage you to contact the technical department.
Can the 6" SD pump handle water containing sand?
Yes – the series has increased resistance to sand, up to a content of 5%; however, regularly pumping sandy water still shortens the service life of the working components.
Does installing the 6" SD pump require a professional?
Installation and electrical connection should be carried out by a qualified person – the pump is a three-phase device supplied in two parts, and improper installation may damage the motor or cable.
Where can I buy the IBO 6" SD submersible pump?
Dambat does not sell directly. Pumps from the 6" SD series are available from commercial partners, installation wholesalers, and authorized online distributors.
What warranty terms apply to the 6" SD pump?
IBO – 24-month (2-year) manufacturer’s warranty. Dambat provides warranty and post-warranty service.
