The IBO 6" SD submersible pump is a multistage design with increased resistance to sand, intended for drawing and pumping raw water in single- and multi-family homes, farms, and industrial installations. The gray cast-iron body and AISI 304 stainless-steel components ensure durable operation in deep wells, while the floating impellers reduce the effects of occasional sand contamination in the water.

Applications
The 6" SD series is intended for drawing and pumping technically clean raw water from drilled deep-water wells for single- and multi-family homes, farms, irrigation systems, and industrial and drainage installations. The design’s increased resistance to sand allows it to handle water containing up to 5% sand. The pump is not a water-treatment device – when using it for other purposes, we recommend ensuring appropriate water preparation.
The pumps operate in a vertical position, in wells with a minimum internal diameter of 160 mm, at a maximum pumped-water temperature of 35°C. The 6" SD 400 V submersible pump works with standard pressure tanks and pressure-control equipment selected for the scale of the installation.
