6" ISP 46-7 - submersible pump
The 6" ISP submersible pump is a multistage design by IBO, made entirely of stainless steel and intended for drawing and pumping raw water in single- and multifamily homes, farms, and industrial installations. Lower-power motors have a diameter of 4", while 6" motors are used from 7.5 kW upward, making it possible to select a drive suitable for the specific duty point. Thermal protection built into the winding protects the motor against overload.
Who is it for?
-
Owners of single- and multifamily homes – the wide power range in the series makes it possible to select a model suited to the well depth and household water demand.
-
Farmers and fruit growers – higher-powered models in the series supply extensive irrigation systems, sprinkler systems, and frost-protection installations over large areas.
-
Industrial plants and drainage installations – the all-stainless-steel construction is suitable for continuous operation and high flow rates.
-
Installers and well-drilling companies – the clear division into 4" and 6" motors makes it easier to select the drive for a specific model and installation conditions.
Application
The 6" ISP series is intended for drawing and pumping technically clean raw water from drilled deep-water wells for single- and multifamily homes, farms, irrigation systems, and industrial and drainage installations. The pump is not a water-treatment device – when using it for other purposes, we recommend ensuring appropriate water preparation.
The pumps operate in a vertical position, in wells with a minimum internal diameter of 160 mm, at a maximum pumped-water temperature of 35°C. The 6" ISP 400 V submersible pump works with standard pressure tanks and pressure-control systems selected for the scale of the installation.
Features of the 6" ISP series
The pumps in the 6" ISP series are made entirely of AISI 304 stainless steel – from the suction and discharge body to the impeller and diffuser, ensuring corrosion resistance under typical operating conditions. Individual variants differ in their duty point on the common performance curve and in the diameter of the motor used.
Models rated up to 7.5 kW are equipped with a 4" motor, while a more durable 6" motor is used from 7.5 kW upward. Thermal protection built into the winding protects the motor against overload, while oil cooling ensures stable operation in continuous-duty mode.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ) – 6" ISP submersible pump
What type of well is the 6" ISP submersible pump suitable for?
The pump is intended for wells with a minimum internal diameter of 160 mm. Before purchasing, it is worth checking the actual borehole diameter to avoid installation problems or motor overheating.
What happens if the well runs out of water while the pump is operating?
The pump must not run “dry” – a lack of water may cause overheating and motor damage, and such a fault is not covered by the warranty. To prevent this, it is worth installing dry-run protection that monitors the water level in the well.
What is the difference between the 6" ISP pump and the 6" SD pump?
Both series have the same diameter and are intended for similar wells, but they differ in the body material – the 6" ISP is made entirely of stainless steel, while the 6" SD has a suction and discharge body made of gray cast iron. The choice depends on whether maximum corrosion resistance (ISP) or a proven cast-iron design (SD) is the priority.
How do I choose the right 6" ISP pump for my needs?
The model depends on the well depth and the amount of water needed at the same time – the series includes variants with different heads and flow rates, from modest household requirements to large agricultural and industrial installations. If you have any doubts, we encourage you to contact the technical department.
Where can I buy the 6" ISP submersible pump?
Dambat does not sell directly. Pumps in the 6" ISP series are available from commercial partners, installation wholesalers, and authorized online distributors.
What warranty conditions apply to the 6" ISP pump?
IBO – 24 months (2 years) manufacturer's warranty. Warranty and post-warranty service is provided by Dambat.
