There is a compressed air between the membrane and the tank housing, which releases water from the tank under pressure.
Using tanks in hydrophore sets, you can limit the number of pump starts at a given time, which has a positive effect on the life of the entire installation. The volume of the water that is in the interior is the difference between the volume of the housing and the volume of the entrust located around the membrane.
